On the PitchDrive tech tour, the startup founders met with Tom Ilube in London. Now for those who do not know Tom, let me give you a brief introduction.
Thomas Segun Ilube (born July 1963) is a British entrepreneur and educational philanthropist. He is of Nigerian descent. He is ranked first in the Powerlist 2017, an annual listing of the UK’s 100 most powerful people with African or Afro-Caribbean heritage
I am proud to say we attended the same secondary school (Edo College) and university (University of Benin) although at different times. He was a few years ahead of me. He had his MBA from London’s Cass Business School.
Ilube was chief information officer (CIO) for the internet bank Egg . He created and launched Noddle.co.uk, a credit reference service. He founded and is the current CEO of Crossword Cybersecurity plc, listed on the NEX Exchange (Formerly ISDX)

People like Tom Ilube are what we need in this country now. People of great minds. Best brains. Reading the simple intro on him, I can see Tom is exceptionally brilliant! His advice on how to be the best entrepreneur would surely worth a fortune. And it would do anyone who wants to go into some startup business to give unbiased attention to him.
