Nigerian startups in their infancy are being called upon to participate in the upcoming second iteration of the Pitch2Win competition, which boasts a substantial reward of up to $10,000 in prize money and an opportunity for an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan.

Organized by Techcircle in partnership with Freakout, SGverse, and SGgrow, the competition is set to unfold on June 12. During this event, ten of the most promising startups will be given the platform to present their business concepts to a distinguished panel of judges and potential investors.

The contenders will compete for the top prize, which includes $10,000 in equity-free funding and a fully-funded trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, one of Japan’s premier cryptocurrency conferences. This presents a unique chance for the winning startup to engage with an international network and gain insights into global industry trends.

Oo Nwoye, the founder of Techcircle, described Pitch2Win as a vital tool for uncovering startups with significant growth potential at an early stage. The competition is designed to facilitate access to capital, provide critical exposure, and offer mentorship that is essential for the startups’ expansion and success.

Applications are open here until May 5.
