In November 2014 OLX, Nigeria’s number 1 online free classified ads site, embarked on the OLX Gives Back Campaign where Mannie of Cool FM and Yaw of Wazobia FM were invited to sell their item(s) on the OLX site. After the items were sold, the proceeds from the sales were doubled by OLX and given to some selected charities.

The OLX Gives Back Campaign has proven to be a great way for OLX and the OAPs to give back to society  their fans and the society at the same time and push traffic to the OLX site .

The event held at Shodex garden and featured the presentation of Mannie’s cheque to his selected charities The Modupe Cole Foundation and the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP). As well as Yaw’s presentation of his cheque to his chosen charities with Lola Masha (OLX Country Manager), The Downs Syndrome Foundation, Bethesda Home for the Blind and Modupe Cole Memorial Home.

The event also included an entertaining but very touching  performance by The students of the Bethesda Home for the Blind.
