Google has launched a new payment service it tags Pay with Google, which aims to simplify the purchasing process on Android devices.
Back in May, Google shared a sneak peek of how paying with Google will. Today, the tech giant threw more light into how Pay With Google works saying: “When you pay with Google, you can use any of the credit or debit cards you’ve added to your Google Account from products like Google Play, YouTube, Chrome or Android Pay. Google sends the merchant your payment info and shipping address using the information from your account—no typing required. Then, the merchant will handle all the details just like any other purchase.

With Pay WIth Google, you can pay for takeout, trips, or a new pair of shoes. However, for now, you will be able to speed through checkout on your Android device whether you’re shopping in apps like iFood in Brazil, Dice in the U.K., or Kayak in the U.S.—or on the web with Chrome.
Other big brands on the waiting list include Deliveroo, Just Eat, Airbnb, and HotelTonight.
When the product arrives Africa, it will serve as a strong competition to established payment platforms in the continent. However, Pay With Google may be more attractive to shoppers because they do not need to check out because the app will pull information from the shopper’s other Google accounts.
