The Nigerian Football Federation has named Former Olympique Lyonnais’s coach Paul Le Guen and Salisu Yusuf as the new handlers of the Super Eagles. While Le Guen is the technical adviser, Yusuf is the Chief Coach.
The French Man will be assisted by coach Imama Amapakabo Alloy Agu who will be the goal keeper trainer. The much-anticipated announcement was made on the twitter handle of the NFF.
Paul Le Guen’s pedigree in international football is unquestionable as he led Olympique Lyonnais to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles. He has also managed Stade Rennais, Paris Saint-Germain, Glasgow Rangers, and the Cameroon national team. His most recent job was with the Oman national team. Salisu Yusuf has been the acting coach of the Super Eagles since Sunday Oliseh resigned.
