The leaked Facebook Home has cut off service since it isn’t fully complete, and all who attempted to download will have to wait till Friday. Tech site MoDaCo leaked on Monday a pre-release version of Facebook Home, causing temptation to download and problems while downloading.
The social network’s launcher software that turns mobile devices into a Facebook-centric device, which is available for Google’s Nexus 4 smartphone and Nexus 7 tablet, leaked on Monday and is proving to be super buggy.
In trying to download it on a Nexus 4, reports say that it only gives a blank screen. The Facebook, Facebook Home and Facebook Messenger had to be uninstalled before the device could work again.
According to comments on the MoDaCo post, those who successfully received the update were unable to access key features such as “chat heads”.
Advice: Wait for its official launches on Friday(April 12) or bear the consequence.
