After recently expanding into South Sudan just last month, the online booking portal Jovago, founded by Africa Internet Holding (AIH), is continuing to expand across Africa, bringing operations to Zanzibar, Djibouti and Malawi in order to offer easy and transparent hotel booking to users across the continent.
To kick off proceedings, Jovago has begun working with the Sheraton Djibouti, the region’s premier luxury hotel destination that attracts travellers from around the world due to its beautiful furnishings and stunning location overlooking the Red Sea.
Sagal Mohamed, commercial director of the Sheraton Djibouti hotel commented: “We are very happy to be working with Jovago; it is a superb initiative that will open the doors of Djibouti to the rest of the world. We are proud that the Sheraton is leading the way in bringing the hotel industry in Djibouti online.”
Jovago aims to make the hotel booking process far easier and more transparent by enabling users to view and book hotels online. By providing high-quality photos and accurate and up-to-date information about each hotel, Jovago puts user convenience and security at the core of its operations. This attention to detail aims to create a much more organised and trustworthy portfolio of the great hotels on offer in countries such as Nigeria, Kenya and Senegal.
Estelle Verdier, managing director of Jovago East Africa stated: “We are delighted to be able to bring our customers access to even more beautiful and attractive locations from across Africa. These new markets all boast tourist industries with great potential and we intend to support local hotels by giving them visibility on our site to an ever-growing customer base. As Jovago continues to grow, we hope to offer our users the best online customer experience possible.”
With this latest wave of expansions in East Africa, Jovago plans to bring the best booking experience online to even more customers across Africa. Whilst it already boasts the largest range of African hotels, Jovago will add even more listings to its site as it continues to expand within these new markets.
