African Classifieds giant, One Africa Media, has invested an undisclosed amount in Kenya’s online real estate classifieds company, BuyRentKenya.com.
BuyRentKenya.com was set up by Jamie Pujara and Nicolas Adamjee in 2012 to provide property seekers with agents and developers.
In an exclusive interview with Techmoran, Jamie Pujara said, ” The funding will help us consolidate our operations, leverage from One Africa Media’s experience in South Africa and Nigeria in property to grow our Kenyan operations and also help deliver value to our clients.”
According to Justin Clarke, co-founder of OAM and founder of South Africa and Nigeria’s leading property website PrivateProperty, in a discussion with Humanipo, “BuyRentKenya.com is by far the strongest real estate marketplace in Kenya and we’re excited about the prospects of working with a great team, and extending the reach of all our brands to Kenyan consumers.
