Olufunbi Falayi and Taiwo Ajetunmobi, two Nigerians who have led project and startup teams and corporations are set to launch The Passion Incubator in the city of Lagos, the hub will be launched in the first quarter of 2014.

The founders hope to launch five new startups out of its 2014 accelerator programme, building three of its own incubator businesses and attracting VC funding for at least three of its incubator startups in 2014, The Passion Incubator is placing a bet on the Lagos tech scene with an imminent launch.

At the end of the programme, start-ups would be able to pitch their businesses to potential investors. While the early-stage accelerator programme was inspired by the model used at India-based Kanthari, an incubator for social initiatives, it is said to be open to a wide array of entrepreneurs with a clear business idea that solves a large scale problem.
