Co-creation Hub (CcHUB), Africa’s largest innovation center, has appointed Ojoma Ochai as its new Managing Director, succeeding the former CEO, Bosun Tijani, who has transitioned to serve as the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ojoma Ochai, previously the Managing Partner at the Creative Economy Practice of CcHUB, brings nearly 20 years of progressive experience in the creative and technology sectors. She has been a driving force in cultivating Nigeria’s creative industries, demonstrating leadership and expertise in fostering innovative solutions.
Funke Opeke, Chairperson of the CcHUB Board, expressed delight at Ojoma’s appointment, stating, “Her commitment to achieving social change through innovation and creativity is key to what CcHUB represents. Her proven track record and strategic leadership are exactly what CcHUB needs to continue building on our mission of contributing to African prosperity through innovation.”
Ojoma Ochai’s strategic leadership is expected to propel CcHUB towards growth, fostering stronger partnerships with collaborators, expanding its Pan-African footprint, and deepening its impact in supporting the continent’s innovation ecosystem. The appointment signifies a new chapter for CcHUB, reinforcing its commitment to driving social change through innovation and creativity under Ojoma Ochai’s leadership as Managing Director.
