NuRan Wireless has announced the opening of its first African office with the appointment of Bradley Shaw as its regional Manager for Middle East and Africa.
NuRAN Wireless is a leading supplier of mobile and broadband wireless solutions. Its innovative GSM, LTE, and White Space radio access network (RAN) and backhaul products dramatically drop the total cost of ownership, thereby creating new opportunities for mobile network operators and internet service providers.
Rural Africa is at the centre of the NuRAN growth strategy and establishing a footprint in Africa to have a local presence is an essential step to support the growing client base.
Bradley Shaw has established himself as one of the most respected business development executives in the African telecoms, media and technology (TMT) sectors. He is a perfect fit to manage and enhance the NuRAN development strategy. His focus has always been on innovative businesses that offer something unique to the African market. He is one of a small handful of Africans who are regularly asked to participate in conferences such as AfricaCom, Mobile World Congress and Mobile 360 Africa as well as presiding as a judge for prestigious awards such as the Global Mobile Awards. Mr. Shaw has also advised the Group Special Mobile Association (‘GSMA”) and Informa on agendas for events both locally and internationally.
“We are very excited about opening our first office in Africa. We are even more excited with having a Regional Manager of such high regard as Bradley Shaw. This will send a clear message to both the industry and our current and prospective clients that we are serious about our near and long term growth prospects for Africa and the Middle East” stated Martin Bedard, Co-President and Co-CEO, Nuran Wireless Inc.
