With the aim of making Search a one-stop shop for all of your searches, Google has now included the option to search for doctors and book appointments with them directly from Search, making the process much easier. Here are the important details to be aware of.

Google Search for a Medical Appointment

This option to book appointments via Google has been developed in collaboration with MinuteClinic at CVS and other undisclosed partners. This function is currently only available in English and is intended for persons in the United States.

So, whether you’re looking for a doctor or a medical center, you’ll find the next open appointment immediately underneath the service provider’s information. There will be a booking option next to each time window, and you may choose what works best for you.

Google has stated that it wants to work with more people to increase the feature’s reach. However, there is no news on whether or not this service would be available to users in India or other countries.

In India (as well as Brazil and Japan), Google will begin displaying health source information panels on YouTube videos so that consumers may get content from trusted sources.

Furthermore, Google wants to make Fitbit devices more capable of supporting chronic ailments, so it’s likely that heart conditions like atrial fibrillation will be supported soon (AFib). Google has already tested this and presented it at a recent American Heart Association meeting, and it is currently pending FDA approval.

In related news, Google has made adjustments to Search to provide more relevant, detailed, and trustworthy product evaluations, so that customers who are seeking for a product’s review can determine whether or not to buy it benefit.
