Millions of PCs around the world will soon be running Windows 11. The rollout will take time, as it does with every new operating system, and many Windows users will have to wait until they receive an update notification before they can begin using it. You don’t want to be kept waiting, right? You don’t have to, because the latest version of Windows is available for download and installation right now with very little effort on your part.
Be aware that unlike earlier versions of Windows, you may not be allowed to install Windows 11 if your PC is not up to its standards. If you have an older computer and would like to upgrade to Windows 11, you will be able to do so if you download the Windows 11 ISO file and perform the installation yourself. Although automated updates are available, you may have to install a fresh ISO every time, depending on your setup.)
The update is now rolling out, so go to “Settings” > “Windows Update” to see if it has reached your machine. It’s possible to determine if your computer qualifies for Windows 11 even if you haven’t installed the new operating system yet by downloading Microsoft’s PC Health App.
The following instructions will walk you through the process of installing Windows 11 without having to wait for the installation process to finish.
Using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant should be straightforward.
Visit the Windows 11 download page to get the latest version of Windows.

A bootable USB or DVD can also be created by selecting “Create Windows 11 Installation Media.”

If you follow the instructions exactly, you should be able to install Windows 11 right away.
