Supermart.ng, Nigeria’s largest online supermarket and 3 hour grocery delivery service has launched its wholesale store. The wholesale store will enable customers buy in bulk to access lower prices than available in retail outlets like supermarkets and the local market.

Raphael Afaedor, Co-CEO & Co-founder of Supermart.ng, said the wholesale service is being introduced as a response to customer requests to be able to buy more for less while still accessing the convenience of shopping for groceries online and having it delivered.

Commenting on the launch of the new wholesale store, Gbolahan Fagbure, Co-CEO & Co-founder of Supermart listed home-makers, event planners, restaurant managers and office administration managers as some of the target audiences of the new service. Fagbure pointed out that the Supermart.ng wholesale store offers even lower prices than traditional local markets or supermarkets.  He went ahead to give examples like a pack of six 125ml bottles of Dettol antiseptic disinfectant going for N1,950, a jumbo pack of 80 pieces Pampers’ Baby Dry diapers for N2,560, a pack of 12 50cl pet bottles of Sprite for N1,100 and a carton of 40 120g Indomie Instant Chicken Noodles for N2,400

Supermart.ng believes this new store will save customers the stress and money, and provide them with more time for other important tasks than grocery shopping. To order, customers visit www.supermart.ng, select the items they want by adding them to their cart, click check out and pay. A Supermart Nigeria shopper then picks the items, packs and delivers them to the customer’s office or address as desired. Supermart.ng delivers across all of Lagos, encompassing all categories of groceries & everyday essentials including Fresh Meat, Fruits & Vegetables, Nigerian ingredients, Household items, Beauty & Cosmetics, Alcohol, Medicines, Office Supplies & more.

Supermart.ng stocks the widest assortment of grocery items in Nigeria, and will continue to expand the channel to further meet the diverse needs of its customer base which has been growing rapidly at 25% month on month.
