Nigerian health startup, Oncopadi, has been selected to participate in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 taking place between February 25th – 28th in Spain. Oncopadi will be joining nine other African startups at the global event.

This opportunity is powered by Telecel Global, who would be introducing these African startups (chosen through its African Startup Initiative) at the MWC in Barcelona as they showcase their innovation to the world.

The award winning #Oncopadi Cancer App has been selected as one of the ten African StartUps to participate in #MWC19.

Oncopadi is a friendly cancer app founded by Dr. Omolola Salako, a radiation oncologist. The startup aims at simplifying the process of access to cancer information, care, and resources by empowering patients with technology to become more informed and involved in their care.

The app gives users access to consultations as well as navigate cancer patients to approved cancer hospitals to get treatments.

Asides exposure to the global world, Oncopadi and other startups would also have learning opportunities from programmes, GSMA seminars, and summits, to help them achieve their goals.
