Nigerian web solutions startup Rainbow Hub has launched.
The hub which was founded in December 2017 by Isaac Oluwatemilorun an undergraduate of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) studying Remote Sensing and GIS, offers services ranging from website design to mobile application development, digital marketing and content writing.
Rainbow Hub creates a unique way for businesses to showcase themselves on the web and also creates an outstanding sleek method to bring the business and their customers together. Companies and business who already have an online presence also come to Rainbow Hub for rebranding and other services like technical features integration such as Email, SMS, Cloud Messaging, SEO, SMO, Payment, etc.
In an interview with Innovation Village, Isaac Oluwatemilorun, a full stack web developer said, “I discovered creating or representing a business online is more than just writing web codes. Web development comprises of Design, Programming, Contents and Marketing.
“I also discovered that it’s bigger than just one man and found out that its best to maintain a certain connection between this circle. So I decided to bring together a group of experts in these fields that comprise website and mobile app development. This group of experts is what made up Rainbow Hub.
According to the founder, Rainbow Hub offers the full package. We have photographers, designers UI/UX developers, programmers, content curators and digital market. The connection and understanding between this group is what makes them outstanding. The photographers know the kind of images that is needed down to the size and resolution, the graphics guy understands what the UI/UX developer needs and the programmers are wired to reproduce what has been drawn down. Content curators know the correct and right number of words to produce and the marketer knows how to use these words to advertise the company or business rightly.
According to Isaac, any business owner, or person who wants to expand their business and showcase themselves on the World Wide Web is a potential client of Rainbow Hub. From just rising startups to large businesses and companies need the services the hub offer.
Speaking on the challenges faced so far as Rainbow Hub evolves, he said, “the major challenge is clients not being able to pay for the services Rainbow Hub offers and then dial down to consult lone developers.”
While advising aspiring entrepreneurs, Isaac said, “Entrepreneurship is hard, be harder.”
Interestingly, Rainbow Hub plans to grow and build the tech community around it.
While commenting on the Nigerian tech ecosystem, he said, “There are lots of startups rising lately and a lot are also falling. The idea of everyone wanting to run their own startup is what kills the ecosystem.”
