Nigerian students in tertiary institutions in Ogun State have been invited to apply for TechChallengeOgun and take a shot at winning $5,000 in funding.
The competition seeks to challenge applicants to develop their own ideas to impact society, industry and commerce.
The TechChallengeOgun is more than a simple pitching competition, but serves as an entry point into VerveTreeHub, a Technology Business Incubator in Ogun State.
TechChallengeOgun is creating a platform for the best ideas to be incorporated into National local content drive.
This 48-hour event brings together entrepreneurs, creators, web developers and designers to transform some selected embryonic ideas for social innovations into real life prototypes and venture capitalist and business angels to finance commercialization of some of these ideas.
The deadline for applications is May 20 at 12:00 am.
