Ajé, a Nigerian startup that operates a blockchain-powered social commerce platform, has reached a significant milestone by onboarding over 7,500 users within just 12 months. This achievement underscores the platform’s growing influence in transforming trust in digital trade.

Ajé leverages blockchain technology to offer a secure and transparent environment for online transactions. The platform provides essential services such as secure escrow, multi-currency wallets, and efficient dispute resolution mechanisms. These features empower both individuals and businesses to engage in safe and transparent transactions across emerging markets.

The platform has successfully completed over 1,000 escrow-protected transactions and has seen a 32 percent month-over-month increase in repeat engagement. This rapid growth highlights Ajé’s appeal to users who seek secure, transparent, and frictionless trade. Over the past year, Ajé has onboarded more than 7,500 users, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

Trust remains one of the largest barriers to the growth of online commerce in emerging markets. Ajé’s blockchain-powered escrow service and dispute resolution tools are changing this narrative, empowering users to trade confidently while fostering economic inclusion.

Ajé has also formed strategic partnerships with notable organizations such as Startupbootcamp, Microsoft Azure, and ALX. These partnerships validate Ajé’s technology and position the company for further scaling. The platform’s unique combination of escrow payments, multi-currency support, and plans for AI-driven dispute resolution are specifically designed to meet the needs of underserved markets, particularly in Africa.

To support its next phase of growth, Ajé is preparing for a US$500,000 pre-seed funding round. The funds will be used to scale operations, aim for 1 million transactions by 2026, and enhance platform capabilities to better serve its expanding user base.
