According to PricewaterhouseCoopers, Nigeria’s entertainment and media market is predicted to surpass $8 billion by 2019.

This is the statement made by CNN in a recent CNN Marketplace Africa edition – “Nigeria’s booming music industry”

The edition looks at Nigeria’s booming music industry  with interviews with Mike Ugwu, the GM Sony Music West Africa, Ademola Odundele and Ovie Ofughara of Notjustok.com and DJ Cuppy.

These same Nigerians constituted a panel dedicated to Nigerian music industry at this year’s SXSW Music Film Interactive which took place in Austin Texas from 11 – 20 March 2016.
