Nana Fatima Ogunfemi, a Nigerian based in London has launched an app called Kinship social awareness app. The unique app, according to the developer, is for individuals that value relationships with people and would like to make contact more regularly with a view to building or maintaining the relationship
“I have always loved technology while growing up. I am in awe of it, mobile technology especially. I just had to be a part of the wonderful progress taking place. Obnce I got that Apple product in my hand, I was sold on getting involved with mobile tech,” she said.
“My app comes from a place of love, unity and community. I intend to carve a niche for myself making apps that families, communities and friends will need to build and maintain good strong relationships. I am not talking about social media like Twitter, Facebook. I am talking about getting you to the point where distance, busy schedules and life won’t get in the way of the things that really matter to us, our loved ones.”
She said the app would “also serve those responsible for vulnerable people with busy schedules to help them get reassuring updates via the app.”
Although she said the app is for everyone, it is currently only available on iOS for users of iPhones.
