Nigerian digital health startups are invited to apply for the Digital Health Summit 2019.
The Digital Health Summit which is organized by Premier Medical Systems with the support of PharmAccess Foundation and Digital Health Nigeria will bring together stakeholders in the Nigerian digital health space on the 21st of March, 2019 to explore the theme – Leveraging mobile technology for Health: Progress and Challenges.
Furthermore, the summit will have in attendance stakeholders such as the Federal Ministry of Health, Federal Ministry of Communication, NITDA, NHIS, WHO, World Bank and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) etc.
The Summit aims to encourage collaboration, and create connections between investors, development partners, government agencies, other stakeholders and startups.
As part of benefits, alongside keynote speeches and panel sessions, 5 digital health entrepreneurs currently using mobile technology to advance access to quality healthcare will have the opportunity to address and pitch to an audience of government agencies, investors; angels and venture capitalists, corporate and development partners, mobile network operators and the media. The digital intervention adjudged likely to have the most impact will be presented with a cash prize.
The application is open to digital health startups based in Nigeria. However, startups applying are expected to be in post-MVP stage with demonstrable evidence of customer traction and ambitions to expand regionally and internationally in the future.
Not more than 2 founders of selected startups are expected to be able to attend the Summit in person.
Applications close on the 8th of March 2019.
