    Nigeria records over 120,000 new subscribers – NCC

    Latest figures released by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) showed an increase in the number of telecoms in Nigeria in the month of November 2015.

    According to the NCC, there were 152,123,172 active lines in Nigeria at the end of November increasing from 149,787,120 at the end of October, representing an increase of 120,048 new lines within the period.

    NCC said there are 149,787,120 active GSM lines increasing from 149,683,259 the previous month this shows there were 103,861 additional new GSM subscribers within the period.

    The number of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) subscribers also increased to 2,149,120 active users in November from 2,130,345 in October 2015.
