Future iPhones and other Apple devices could come in with “adaptive information,” (this will include important data about your caller) once the patent is approved by the US Patent Trademark Office.
According to the said Patent, “Adaptive information can be different from traditional static information, which is information that remains fixed of the same. Such adaptive information can include, for example, the name of the person’s spouse and children, the date of their birthday or their hobbies. A system can also identify any unsuccessful attempts to communicate (e.g. unanswered calls, voicemails, unread emails) with another person and present a user with adaptive information related to those attempts.”
This patent is meant to prepare you for the rest of your communication with your caller. However, it could also bring up general data that you need to simply pass the time. You will enjoy things like the weather forecast and news headlines through graphical and audio signals.
