    New IT Regulation Will Advance Nigerian IT Sector in Nigeria-NITDA

    The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has said that its new IT regulation will advance the IT sector in Nigeria.

    The Director-General (NITDA), Dr. Isa Pantami made this statement during a meeting with the Association of Outsourcing Professionals of Nigeria (AOPN), at the Agency’s Corporate Head Office, Abuja, Nigeria.

    Dr. Pantami also commented that Nigeria is strategically placed to be the foremost Outsourcing destination in Africa, considering her youthful population who are digital natives, the geographical location and the favorable government policies such as the executive orders 003 and 005.

    The President of the Professional body, Mr. Oyadairo Muyiwa, also clarified that explained the AOPN team was at NITDA to invite the Agency to its upcoming Outsourcing Expo, and also to seek the partnership of the Agency for effective regulation of the Outsourcing Sector.

    Muyiwa disclosed that the association body sees NITDA as a strategic partner in implementing its Mandate.
