New Costume and Season 4 Premiere Date For Arrow Revealed

After defeating the formidable Ra’s Al Ghul (and the Reverse Flash, if you watch the Flash series), one will not be judged for thinking Oliver Queen is done with the vigilante business, as he rode off with his soulmate Felicity Smoak at the end of the season.

Fortunately, DC Entertainment and The CW are people with good hearts and are going to continue with the series.

The Season 4 of Arrow premieres on Thursday, October 7 at 1:00 AM. And what’s more? Oliver Queen gets a super cool costume upgrade.

The new costume was revealed at Arrow‘s Comic-Con panel on Saturday night.

It also seems that Oliver Queen will now be referred to as the Green Arrow. Stephen Amell who plays Oliver Queen shared an update to that effect on his Facebook page.

Additionally, the show’s executive producer Greg Berlanti Said

“We’ve always said the progression for Oliver is very much from the Arrow to Green Arrow,”  “This is first real stop in that direction.”

The Arrow series was built on the Green Arrow comics but does not follow the exact storyline. Changing Oliver’s name to Green Arrow might signal a change in tactic to closely imitate the topic, which is an exciting development for most fans.
