NeuRaL AI, a Nigerian enterprise specializing in artificial intelligence technologies, has unveiled its latest offering, REACTOR—an AI platform crafted to facilitate the effortless incorporation of Generative AI into the workflows of businesses and organizations.
This service is available through a subscription model, with a base price of ₦99,000 per month, not including VAT. Specifically targeting developers and software firms that wish to create AI-driven applications, REACTOR allows them to host their proprietary models, which have been trained on their unique datasets, for the same monthly rate.
NeuRaL AI is committed to providing comprehensive support to its clients, ranging from the initial integration phase to continuous system maintenance. This includes providing expert advice throughout the entire adoption process and offering training sessions for client teams.
For companies located in Lagos, NeuRaL AI is conducting a complimentary 1-hour workshop on GenAI adoption. Additionally, a virtual workshop is available for companies outside Lagos that are interested in exploring the benefits of Generative AI.
The REACTOR platform by NeuRaL AI stands out as a composable and immediately operational data and AI computing infrastructure. Clients are granted access to a private “Metal Vault” within the virtual compute cluster of the data center (REACTOR), which comes with a dedicated IP and user interface.
Chidera Anyanebechi, the General Manager of NeuRaL AI, explains that REACTOR is designed to streamline the integration of Generative AI by removing the burdens of self-hosting, intricate infrastructure management, and the complexities of operating machine learning pipelines, caching, or query engines. It also alleviates the challenges associated with handling large datasets and the cost of employing specialized AI engineers or operations staff.
NeuRaL AI’s strategy is to showcase to businesses that technical prowess is not a prerequisite for harnessing the full potential of Generative AI in their operations. “AI has become a leveller for all businesses irrespective of size. We handle all the heavy lifting for you,” Anyanebechi added.
NeuRaL is making this move at a time when Nigeria is also rolling out AI-focused initiatives. Recently, the government announced plans to build research centres, in areas including AI, across the six geopolitical zones in the country. In April 2024, the government disclosed plans to enlist 120 experts to set up a co-created framework to drive AI adoption in the country and has drafted its initial National AI Strategy.
The National AI Strategy received $3.5 million in seed funding from potential partners, consisting of $1.5 million in direct funding and an additional $2 million. Moreover, reports predict that the AI market in the country will reach $0.89 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach a market value of $8.75 billion by 2030.
