It’s no longer news that Nigerian own mobile-ad rewarding start-up MyAds has changed the game of advertising locally. What is RED HOT News is that the Nigerian based start-up has decided to take on the world. In the early hours of today, the 10th day of January 2016, MyAds pre-launched its Indian arm, called MyAds India.
This is really one thing that has not happened in a very long time; an African Startup gearing up to take on the world. The normal routine is to first go round Nigeria, then Africa before taking on the world.
In a chat with the MyAds founder and serial entrepreneur Simeon Ononobi, he said “We have been approached by loads of companies wanting to partner with us to take MyAds to the world and we decided to listen and today, you have MyAds India, and in coming days you will have MyAds launching in 10 other countries before the middle of the year.”
“Our plan is to take on the world and make advertising targeted and accessible to everyone as very reduced cost when compared to traditional advertising.
“MyAds India is headed by Co-Founder Suraj Supekar and we have started recruiting there. We believe that its innovation that will change the way people see advertising. MyAds will be fully launched on the 1st March 2016.”
MyAds launched initially in Nigeria on the Airtel Network in September 2015 before launching officially across all networks in Nigeria in October 2015.
