Can someone remind again what the cause of the fight is? Why are two billionaires thinking of having a cage-fight?
Elon Musk tweeted posted on Sunday that the cage fight will be live-streamed on his social media platform “X” formerly known as Twitter.
He also added that the proceeds will go to charity for veterans.
Before this post, he had posted that he was lifting weights, preparing for the fight. He also added that he does not have time to work out so he takes the weights to work.
When a user on X asked him the reason of the fight, he responded by saying “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war”.
As at the time of writing this article, Mark has not responded to the post.
Both billionaires have been bantering for some time about a cage fight but it is not quite clear if this fight is really going to happen. However, there is an ongoing “fight” in the social media messaging marketplace between Musk’s “X” and Mark’s “Threads”.
Mark Zuckerberg’s Threads experienced a meteoric rise, having rocketed to more than 100 million users within five days of its launch such that it posed a threat to “X” but this uptake has declined with Zuckerberg saying the situation was “normal” and that he anticipated retention to improve as new features were added to the app.
