It seems the performance of Microsoft Office apps for iPad within hours of its official launch validates the fact that it has been long awaited.
Satya Nadella, Micosoft’s CEO, shared this performance via a tweet yesterday, saying “looks like it’s a productive Friday for #iPad owners!”.
The three free apps, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, are occupying the top consecutive spots of the App Store’s free downloads.
