Morocco’s startups VotreChauffeur and VotreColis specializing in mobility and last-mile delivery have secured $240,000 from Afrimobility, Akwa Group’s Venture Capital fund.
The funds will be used to boost the operations of both startups by increasing their fleet strength and enhancing their range of offerings through the upgrade of digital tools developed by in-house staff.
Founded by Zakaria AFFI, VotreColis.ma is an on-demand last-mile delivery startup, while VotreChauffeur.ma offers a platform where users can book rides online.
Zakaria AFFI, CEO of VotreColis.ma and VotreChauffeur.ma said, “We are really thrilled with this funding, which will allow us to continue our development and extend our position in the Moroccan market. Afrimobility and Akwa Group jointly believe that the current funding campaign clearly shows the group’s belief in the company’s potential, both in the industry of moving people and in the business of transporting goods.
Last year, VotreChauffeur.ma witnessed significant growth in its passenger transportation activities with revenue surpassing that of the previous year, while votrecolis.ma also saw a boost in terms of goods transportation due to deals sealed with top national clients.
