Crealo, a Moroccan startup specializing in copyright management, has successfully secured 14.1 million dirhams ($1.42 million) in seed funding. The funding round was led by 212 Founders Programme, part of CDG Invest, with participation from Kima Ventures, Evolem, Super Capital, and other angel investors.
This funding will allow Crealo to enhance its product quality, grow its staff, and initiate new partnerships.
The 212 Founders Programme delivered an investment of 4.9 million dirhams ($492,925) during the round. Crealo indicated that the received capital will empower its critical initiatives aimed at strengthening its position as an innovative solution in the copyright management sector.
Not only will it enable service improvements but also set the company on a path to continuous growth.
Established in 2021 by Mohammed Belghiti and Najlae Zeitouni, Crealo provides a comprehensive solution to copyright issues within the creative and cultural industries via its online platform. The company’s system takes care of the whole copyright royalty management process in France for organizations of all sizes, thereby ensuring hassle-free operations.

Najlae Zeitouni commented on Crealo’s mission, stating the company’s core commitment is to streamline royalty payments, making them as seamless as payments of salaries. Among its clients are prominent institutions such as Palais de Tokyo, Beaux-Arts Magazine, L’Équipe, and the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle.
Meanwhile, since its inception in 2019, the 212 Founders Programme has been fostering entrepreneurship and promoting economic progress in Morocco. The program has so far made 18 investments in both seed and Series A stages, amassing a total of 97 million dirhams ($9.84 million).
