Have you heard of the Mooditt app?
Probably not. But according to App Annie, the Mahindra Comviva app is number one in the list of music and audio free apps in Nigeria. Mahindra Comviva is a value-added services provider for mobile operators with its head quarters in India.
In the second position is Wynk by Airtel Nigeria.
According to the description on the Google app page, “Mooditt brings you free, unlimited access to all your favourite songs of Nollywood and African music, no matter wherever you are. Every mood select your favourite songs and artists, create your own personalized playlists which delivers the fervour music. Mooditt has been developed by a team of music lovers with a zing in their lives.”
Since the launch of the Mooditt app in January, 2015, here are some key highlights;

- 12m+ screen views
- 800k+ songs played
- 100k+ songs and ringtones downloaded
- Average of 7500 users daily
- Number 1 on app annie for the last 18 weeks
- Catalogue of over 5k songs from different genres like gospel, hip hop, indeginous folk music etc
Still in beta stage, Mahindra Comviva hopes to launch the full app in September with a new UI and totally cool new features like live artist social media feed, ring back tune integration, games and some other mind blowing features which would surprise everyone.
