It is another February and as usual, the mobile world is looking forward to the foremost mobile conference in the world – the GSMA Mobile World Congress. The 2014 edition of this conference will take place in Barcelona from 24th to the 27th of February.

The Theme of this year’s event is “Creating What’s Next”.

During the four-day event, more than 72,000 senior mobile professionals will network, showcase and exchange ideas – you can’t afford to miss it. Mobile World Congress is the blueprint for the NEXT big innovation. Whatever is coming NEXT will likely be born at Mobile World Congress 2014 – either announced on stage during the Conference programme, showcased in the award-winning Exhibition, or conceived during one of the thousands of meetings taking place during the week.

Mobile World Congress is full of opportunities!

    • A world-class thought-leadership Conference featuring visionary keynotes and panel discussions
    • A cutting-edge product and technology Exhibition featuring 1,700 exhibitors
    • The world’s best venue for seeking industry opportunities, making deals, and Networking
    • App Planet, the Centre of the Mobile Apps Universe, where the mobile app community gathers to learn, network and engage with innovators
    • mPowered Industries, a new conference and exhibition programme for those in the Health, Marketing & Advertising, Media, and Travel verticals

Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Facebook will be headlining in the first of the week’s Mobile World Live keynote sessions on Monday, 24th February at 18:00-18:45. In this session, Mr. Zuckerberg and renowned technology journalist and writer David Kirkpatrick will explore the importance of extending the benefits of ubiquitous Internet access to the unconnected world.

In addition to the live audience in the Conference Village in Fira Gran Via, the Mobile World Live keynotes will be streamed live across the venue and to hundreds of thousands of viewers globally via the Mobile World Live portal.
