Microsoft has unveiled the Surface Duo dual-screen Android phone which will be available for $1,399 as from September 10. The foldable device was initially announced during Microsoft’s Surface hardware conference on October 2, 2019 along with the Surface Neo
One wonders if Microsoft’s announcement was not precipitated by the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 at the Samsung Unpacked event which took place on the 5th of August. Samsung had said that Galaxy Z Fold 2 would be available for preorder starting September 1
The two 5.6-inch screens held together by “revolutionary 360-degree hinge” combine to form one larger 8.1-inch PixelSense Fusion display. Microsoft claims it is “the thinnest mobile device on the market.”
