According to Microsoft Student Partner lead Thomas Nigr, Microsoft is about to launch a browser that will replace Internet Explorer as the default browser in Windows 10.
Ok so Microsoft is about to launch a new browser that’s not Internet Explorer and will be the default browser in Windows 10. Wow.

The new browser is codenamed Sparta and it will be more of a rebranding excercise than a technical change. Sparta will also have mobile versions and it will probably be similar to Firefox and Google Chrome.
Internet Explorer has been criticized for being slow, laggy and a pain to developers as it does not follow browser standards. However, in the beginning of the internet, IE set the pace while tugging with Netscape Navigator. It is reported that Internet Explorer 11 will still be available on the Windows 10 OS for backward compability.
