An official blog post from Microsoft said that the 3D Fluent emoji update for Teams would be coming soon. The company said that the new 1800 emojis “bring a modern and delightful new version of the emojis we use every day.” This is what they said. You can see the new 3D Emojis on Microsoft Teams in the picture below.
“Users will notice a fresh take on most of the previous Teams emojis, as well as some new additions!” All skin tone-enabled emojis will continue to have 6 skin tone possibilities,” Microsoft Teams engineer Kaushal Mehta stated.
Team chats, channels, & live meetings will be able to use the 3D Fluent emoticons. Users will be able to use the new emojis in chats, channels, and video conferences, and some of them will have their own animations.
To use the new emojis, go to the Teams App’s Settings menu and select “Public Preview” from the “About” section. It’s worth noting, though, that IT administrators must enable the preview functionality before users may utilize 3D emojis. They’ll be available on Teams for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and supported web browsers once they’ve been enabled.
Last year, Microsoft introduced 3D Fluent emojis for both Windows and Teams. Although Microsoft previously stated that the upcoming Windows 11 OS would not include 3D emojis, now it is reported to include them. With the new set of emojis that follow Microsoft’s Fluent Form, it also incorporated the classic “Clippy” figure in a 3D design. If you use the 3D emoticons in Microsoft Teams, let us know how you like them in the comments below.
