Microsoft has revealed that it will be releasing the much anticipated Windows 10 on July 29 and it will be free. Already, Windows 7 and 8 users are getting notifications to make a reservation for Windows 10 when it is released.
With the release date close by, Microsoft has a lot of work cut out for it. Microsoft earlier distributed the Windows 10 OS to over four million Windows Insiders for testing and as expected, the OS has been rife with bugs. Hopefully, Microsoft fixes these problems and delivers with much more improvements as promised in less than two months.
But of course Microsoft also has the option of releasing direct operating system patches up to and after general availability. Windows 8 launched with a big update available on the first day, and many separate app updates. Windows 10 may follow in the same trend.
