To achieve this, Microsoft is offering potential converts 90 days free trial of the new Windows 10 Enterprise edition. Not leaving home users behind, Windows on Wednesday had started pushing Windows 10 as a free upgrade to legitimate users of Windows 7 and 8.1. This upgrade will be free for one year with users having the option to return to the former version in case they don’t want to stick to Windows 10.
Home users can also download the Enterprise version of Windows 10 before any final upgrade. This comes with missing notable features like Mail, Calendar, People, Photos, the Windows App Store, and Cortana.
The Windows 10 enterprise is also an advantage to IT professionals with tools that can automatically configure new devices and Device Guard, a feature that lets businesses lock devices down to only run applications from trusted developers of their choosing. Another available feature called Windows Hello lets users log in with biometric information such as their fingerprint or face.
