Microsoft released the much awaited technical preview build for Windows Phone devices today to allow Windows Phone users experience the next version of the company’s mobile operating system.
Users need to join the Windows Insider Program just to be able to try the preview, though the preview is currently not available to all Lumia phones out there but for now, it will only work on a few Windows Phone models, such as the Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 636, Lumia 638, Lumia 730 and Lumia 830.
If you have a compatible device, follow the instructions below to download the latest build to your device.
• Join the Windows Insider Program here.
• Download the Windows Insider app here. The Windows Insider application provides registered Insiders the ability to receive pre-release OS updates on their phone.
• Have free space of above 8GB on your phone.
• Go to Windows Insider app, enroll in Fast ring.
• Check for updates on your phone.

Microsoft said it will continue to add support for other models.
