Along with the Surface studio, is a Surface Dial.
The Surface Dial allows you interact with onscreen content in new and precise ways. When the dial is placed on the screen of the studio, a radial menu pops up around it.

The Surface Dial is also available as a separate purchase for older devices.
The price for the Surface Studio begins at $2,999 for an i5 Processor with 8 GB of RAM while the quad-core i7 processor and 32 GB of RAM will sell for $4,199.
