Head of the Insider program at Microsoft, Gabriel Aul, on Twitter hinted that Windows 10 Mobile technical Preview for Windows phone 8.1 could be released this week and he has previously said they are working on the ability to roll back from the installation of the Windows 10 Mobile technical preview to Windows Phone 8.1, just in case you decide to roll back to your previous Operating System, particularly in view of reports that the current builds have significant bugs, such as rapid battery drain.
He has now confirmed on twitter that the feature will be available when the preview does roll out.
@RoyHansen1 Yes, we’ll have a recovery tool to roll back for all phones that are supported for the preview.
