Nairobi is among the 13 cities where Microsoft is holding special launch events today (Wednesday). InnovationVillage earlier reported that Microsoft launched Windows 10 in 190 countries available as a free upgrade for Windows 7 & 8.1 devices or with new PCs and tablets.

While in Kenya, Nadella will meet Kenyan developers.  He will also officiate the launch of Windows 10 later in the evening at Aboreturm.

At Microsoft Nadella has led major projects including the company’s move to cloud computing and the development of one of the largest cloud infrastructures in the world. He was the senior vice-president of Research and Development (R&D) for the Online Services Division and vice-president of the Microsoft Business Division.
