Metrofile, a prominent provider specializing in the management of documents and digital solutions, recently unveiled its latest venture: the introduction of advanced cloud-based services specifically earmarked for the East African market. These newly rolled out services will deliver essential benefits to the company’s clientele, primarily enhancing their data security measures while simultaneously ensuring compliance with prevailing regulatory statutes.

As per the official communique released by Metrofile, the newly developed cloud services are meticulously tailored to cater to the unique requirements of Kenyan corporate entities. These services aim to confront the escalating challenges associated with burgeoning data volumes, increased security vulnerabilities, and the intensifying necessity for adherence to the Data Protection Act.

A key selling point of Metrofile’s cloud services is the pricing strategy, which denotes charges in the local Kenyan currency. This strategic approach promises to shield clients from the volatility associated with foreign exchange rates, thereby affording them a more stable and predictable set of operational expenditures.

Metrofile highlights the strategic advantage of situating a data center locally, asserting that it not only guarantees regulation compliance but also enhances the speed and efficiency of their service offerings. Adding to their value proposition is the promise of round-the-clock customer support and the convenience of a self-service online portal.

Steve Porter, the Managing Director of Metrofile Cloud, elaborated on the company’s vision of fostering a cooperative relationship with its clientele, emphasizing the importance of flexible payment structures and reliable support at a local level.

“As we embark on this transformative digital journey, we are deeply committed to facilitating a transition towards an office environment that is less dependent on paper, while also maximizing efficiency and ensuring stringent measures for data security,” remarked Porter.

Echoing this sentiment, Jackline Mburu, the Managing Director of Metrofile’s operations in East Africa, observed, “Our suite of cloud services transcends mere data storage. They represent a pivotal step in equipping businesses with the tools and capabilities they require to excel in today’s digitally dominated corporate landscape.”
