Tech giant Meta has launched a new Virtual Reality (VR) subscription service – Meta Quest+ for $7.99 per month or $59.99 annually. It is available for Meta’s Quest 2, Pro and soon for Quest 3.
For just $7.99 per month, you’ll get access to two hand-picked VR titles every month to redeem, enjoy, and master. And when you sign up now through July 31, you’ll get your first month for $1 USD*. With a combination of VR’s biggest hits, hidden gems, and back-catalog classics, this is the most affordable way to grow your library with killer content.
For the first month of July, Meta will make available Cloudhead Games’ physical action-rhythm FPS Pistol Whip with the nostalgia-fueled arcade adventure Pixel Ripped 1995 from ARVORE Immersive Experiences. In August, users will get access to uniquely compelling social VR experience in Mighty Coconut’s Walkabout Mini Golf and some frantic weapon-crafting and shooter action in MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE from Terrible Posture Games.
According to Meta, “Subscription services have been a great way to get more bang for your buck as far back as the Blockbuster days. And at a monthly value of up to $60 USD, Meta Quest+ combines affordability with the convenience of a curated experience. We’re excited to give gamers on Meta Quest a new way to explore all their headsets have to offer.”
As long as you maintain an active Meta Quest+ subscription, you will retain access to each title, allowing the value to accumulate over time. The subscription offers great flexibility, as you can cancel it at any moment. What’s even more advantageous is that if you decide to rejoin at a later time, you will regain access to all the titles from your original paid subscription period.
