    A bold new chapter is unfolding in wearable technology as Meta and Oakley unveil Oakley Meta HSTN, a new line of AI-powered performance eyewear engineered for athletes and active users. This innovative product fuses Oakley’s high-performance design legacy with Meta’s advances in artificial intelligence and spatial computing.

    The collaboration builds on Meta’s earlier success with Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, which brought AI and voice command features into everyday fashion. With millions of Ray-Ban Meta units sold since launch, Meta’s next move shifts the focus to athletic performance, integrating utility, design, and technology in a new category of smart glasses designed to help users push their limits.

    Performance Meets Intelligence

    Oakley Meta HSTN delivers a hands-free digital experience tailored to movement. Users can capture ultra HD (3K) video through a built-in camera, stream music or podcasts via open-ear speakers, and interact directly with Meta AI, the embedded smart assistant. Whether it’s checking surf conditions or filming a skate trick, users can activate features simply by saying “Hey Meta.”

    The glasses are designed for endurance with up to 8 hours of typical use, 19 hours on standby, and a charging case that adds 48 hours of power on the go. A 20-minute charge delivers 50% battery—ideal for athletes needing quick boosts between training sessions.

    PRIZM™ Technology for Visual Mastery

    Oakley’s PRIZM™ Lens Technology is featured in select Oakley Meta HSTN models, enhancing contrast and clarity by fine-tuning the light spectrum. This lens innovation transforms the way users perceive environments, making subtle shifts in texture, terrain, or light instantly noticeable—crucial for high-performance sports like golf, cycling, or surfing.

    Customers can choose from six color and lens options, including transitions and polar lenses, all RX-ready. The lineup includes:

    • Warm Grey with PRIZM™ Ruby Lenses
    • Black with PRIZM™ Polar Black Lenses
    • Brown Smoke with PRIZM™ Polar Deep Water Lenses
    • Black with Transitions® Amethyst Lenses
    • Clear with Transitions® Grey Lenses

    Celebrating 50 Years of Oakley

    To commemorate Oakley’s 50th anniversary, a Limited-Edition Oakley Meta HSTN model will launch with gold detailing and 24K PRIZM™ Polar lenses. Preorders start on July 11 for $499 USD. The rest of the collection starts at $399 USD and will roll out across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia, with further availability planned for Mexico, India, and the UAE later this year.

    More Than a Product—A Movement

    The launch campaign features global sports icons like Kylian Mbappé, Patrick Mahomes, and Gabriel Medina, who demonstrate how AI wearables are reshaping professional and amateur sports alike. The glasses will also appear at major events including Fanatics Fest and UFC International Fight Week this summer.
