Facebook Messenger’s Video Calling is Now Available Worldwide

Last April, Facebook announced its new video chat service through its Messenger app but this feature wasn’t exactly available globally after being launched, though countries like Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, the UK, the US and Uruguay were able to enjoy this service but today, Facebook announced the feature is available worldwide.

Quick update on video calling in Messenger: we’re happy to share we’ve now rolled out the capability globally, with the exception of a few countries we’re still working on improving quality for.

The call quality is quite good from my experience and I’ve really enjoyed using this app for a while now and it actually made me forget I even have a Skype app on my device. The new Facebook Messenger video calling feature is available on iOS and Android and you can check it out from the stores by getting the new update.
