MentorPitch Program Opens Applications for Zambian Tech Startups

Zambian technology startups are being called upon to participate in MentorPitch, a comprehensive 12-week mentorship initiative. This program is specifically tailored for startups that have progressed beyond the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) phase and are now focused on expanding their early adopter customer base and gearing up for angel investment.

MentorPitch is a collaborative effort brought forth by the Zambia Business Angels Network (ZBAN), BongoHive, and TVC labs. The program is seeking founders of tech-centric startups who are looking to refine their business model and scale their operations.

The core objective of MentorPitch is to guide startups in finalizing their business plans, honing their pitch decks, and fulfilling other due diligence criteria necessary for securing angel investment. This is achieved through a series of weekly assignments that are part of the program’s curriculum.

Upon completion of the program, the participating mentors—who also have the potential to act as angel investors—will evaluate the startups and make decisions regarding possible funding. The MentorPitch Programme represents a unique chance for startups to not only benefit from expert mentorship but also to access crucial funding that can propel their growth.

The organizers of the program emphasize the dual advantage of mentorship and investment that participants stand to gain, making it an invaluable opportunity for business development and acceleration.
