    MEF Connects Nigeria holds next week in Lagos

    Next week, the second annual MEF Connects Nigeria will be held as part of Mobile West Africa. Organizers said this year’s edition is supported by Huawei, Bango, Mtech & Content Connect. The evening is expected to connect international & local members and delegates in Nigeria’s exciting and unique market.

    Mobile West Africa is a two-day event focused on harnessing the potential of mobile technology and facilitating growth through knowledge exchange and networking.

    On day one of MWA, MEF CEO Rimma Perelmuter will chair a session looking at empowering, streamlining and enriching the mobile consumer’s experience. The session includes keynotes and a panel discussion with expert speakers from Bango, Etisalat Nigeria, Opera and Trustpay.

    MEF is also hosting a member-only MEF Africa steer-co meeting to advance MEF’s pan-Africa strategy with a focus on market facilitation in the region.

    The meeting will include:

    • Updates on Global MEF Initiatives, including: Consumer Trust, Mobile Money, Mobile Messaging & Innovation
    • MEF Growth Strategy for Africa in 2016, including market facilitation, VAS regulation in Nigeria & Pan Africa strategy
    • Nigerian Market Entry Guide highlights
