    Meet the Nigerian That Has Just Being Appointed As Head of Facebook’s Developer and Startup Programs

    A few days after the exciting news that Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Okonjo Iweala will be joining the board of Twitter, yet another Nigerian, Chimdindu Aneke, has been appointed to head of the Facebook’s Developer and Startup Programs.

    His new job responsibility is to ensure the growth and success of startups and developers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

    Disclosing the news on medium, Aneke said: “Together with the team, we will continue to double our efforts in supporting developers through the Developer Circle Communities, Tech hubs, and Startup programs across SubSaharan Africa (SSA) plus many more exciting initiatives we will be driving. Africa is on a journey and has come really far. To be a player in the big wave coming to Africa, we need to be aware that the Journey is never finished. “We die here” 🙂

    Aneke who was an ex-Google and Andela staff will be working from London.
