Meditell, a Nigerian startup founded by a group of young enterpreneurs launched a platform in July 2014 which will enable Hospitals assist their patients in taking their drugs through reminder alerts. The patient receives the exact time to take their medications via an automated voice call and a text message that is been sent to the phone.

This is a very interesting development as the patients usually have issues of forgetfulness and inattentive medical personnel. This drug reminding process comes at affordable prices to hospitals, pharmacists, HMOs, clinics and other health institutions who wishes to ensure that their patients receive the best medical service via an efficient offline experience.

There are different price packages with a free trial of up to 100 patients getting alerted. There is also the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Brass packages with prices ranging from N10,000 to N43,000 subscription worth per month.

Visit the Meditell website for more details.
